CSICC History:

Computer Society of Iran (CSI) Computer Conference (CSICC) has been held annually since 1995 and is hosted jointly by CSI and universities in Iran. CSICC is to provide a forum for sharing of original research results and practical engineering experiences among researchers and practitioners interested in all aspects of computer science and engineering. The objectives of CSICC is to share recent developments and original research in this field and to foster close collaboration between scientific and industrial communities in Iran.

CSICC includes tutorials, paper presentations, keynote speakers, panel discussions on topics of interest, exhibition of the R&D projects done in Iran, and other activities to be announced by the hosts. Research papers and industrial applications reports as well as proposals for tutorials, and tool demonstrations are solicited.

Past Conferences:

The first conference, CSICC'95, was hosted by Computer Engineering department of Sharif University of Technology during 25-28 Dec., 1995. Out of 145 extended abstracts or full papers that were submitted, 60 papers were accepted. See the accepted papers.

CSICC'96 was hosted by Computer Engineering department of AmirKabir University of Technology during 24-26 Dec., 1996. 133 extended abstracts or full papers that were submitted. 59 papers were accepted and published.

CSICC'97 was hosted by Computer Engineering department of Iran University of Science and Technology during 23-25 Dec., 1997. 170 extended abstracts or full papers that were submitted, 85 papers were accepted.

CSICC'99, was held in 26-28 Jan., It was hosted again by Computer Engineering department of Sharif University of Technology. 206 full papers that were received, 83 of which were accepted.

CSICC'2000 was held during March 7-10, 2000 and hosted by Shahid Beheshti University.

The Upcoming Conference:

CSICC'2001 will be held during February 20-22, 2001 and hosted by Computer Engineering Department of University of Isfahan.
