I am born in Tehran, Iran, on April 1st, 1979. And being the first child of my parents, I have two brothers, one of which will be a Sharif student next semester, I hope. My parents are both engineers and we have a half-scientific family.
Let's return to myself. When I look at my past, besides my happy hours playing, crying, etc., I remember some great events. First of all, is finding a great book at the age of 5. It was the first grade study book. I spent most of my time with it with some help of parents, etc., till I finished it, and then, a new world was opened to me. I read almost anything that I found, and got specially interested in literature, even before school.
From those times, I got away from people, and hanged to my real friends, the books. I remember the first poem I had completely on my mind, Rain {baaroon} by Ahmad Shamloo. And my first real book was The Little Prince {shaazde koochooloo} by Antointe de Saint-Exupery. These two men's works, Shamloo and Saint-Exupery, are even now my favourites. I somehow can't leave without their works.
My life being spent with books, continued at 7 and on. When I went to school, I skipped the first grade as adviced by my teacher, and sat on second. In these days, my second great interest formed, and it was mathematics. Someday I found a fourth grade math book at the school's garbages, and again a new kind of life started.
On continued on these bases, finding Sadegh Hedayat's books when 10, and another great book of math, `Alive Mathematics' by J. Perlman, at the same age. God helped me and at that year, I think 1989, Tehran was bombed by Iraqi missles and the whole family went out of city. I had a lot of spare time then, and being pushed by the love of math, started the studying of high-school math.
Ok! Let's relax a little and tell you that I have changed a lot of schools. These were some of them, that may be interesting for some of people being a colleague there. I studied second grade at Shahid-Kolaahdooz school, third and fourth on 17-e Shahrivar (yes, in Vali-Asr) and the fifth at Taghvaa (in Shahraaraa).
Some non-useful facts, isn't them? ;-) Ok. After the cease of missles, I even knew how to Integrate simple functions, and how to compute the volume of simple space shapes by Integrals. And I was getting an expert in mathematical puzzles...
At the fifth, I were chosen as the sixth rank in the First Junior Math Olympiad in Tehran. I have a lot of good friends from those times, and for those who know them, some of them include Pooriya Sadeghi, Babak Sayyah, Farzin Habib-beygi, Kaveh Dadbin, Arash Kholdebarin, Mehdi Kalhori, ...
I was then accepted for the Iranian highest rank guidance school, Allame-Helli, belonging to NODET (National Organization for Developement of Exceptional Talents). But I tried another school, namely Taleghani guidance school in Shahrara.
