FarsiTeX is a Persian/English document preparation system based on Donald Knuth's TeX.
I have recently erased some of the infomational parts of this page, since they were too old, and the data was wrong. For information about FarsiTeX, please take a look at The FarsiTeX Official Homepage, at http://www.sharif.ac.ir/~farsitex.
I have been in the project since July 1996 (when I was a high school student!) and besides rewriting the FarsiTeX kernel, I have composed some of the distributions. My small contributions to the project include font bug-fix, etc.
My greatest piece of software written on my lifetime, namely the completely rewritten FarsiTeX kernel, fully compatible with LaTeX2e conventions, will be available after summer.
Also, I am almost an expert in (La)TeX typesetting and have worked with TeX since the age of 15. I have prepared a book named "Mathematical Olympiad in Iran" (by Dr. Ebadollah Mahmoodian and myself) when I was 17 and I think it is a real piece of art. In the book project, I also developed a Farsi-compatible METAPOST.
